I chose the Hoyt Exceed because, although it was released back in 2019, it has consistently proven itself as the highest-scoring rider on the market. Its performance ceiling is far above my aspirations, meaning the bow is capable of outscoring me by a wide margin. That gives me confidence that any limitations in my results come from my technique, not my equipment, and ensures I have a riser that will support my progress for years to come.
Another advantage of the Hoyt Exceed is the ability to adjust the draw force curve. By changing the settings, I can alter how much the limbs “stack” near full draw, which gives me the chance to experiment with different feels without needing to test multiple limb models. This flexibility lets me find the setup that best suits my shot cycle and strength progression, while keeping my equipment consistent.
